President Obama announced his nomination for the new Inspector General for the General Services Administration. Carol Fortine Ochoa, who has been the assistant inspector general at the U.S. Department of Justice Oversight and Review Division since 2005, has been nominated to the position. Prior to that position, she was Director of the Oversight and Review Division. She has also served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia and associate independent counsel at the Office of Independent Counsel.
