Chicago’s Inspector General says the Chicago Fire Department is still not meeting nationwide standards for response time, despite being chided a year-and-a-half ago for not meeting those standards.

According to Inspector General Joe Ferguson, the city was using a statistically flawed method for calculating those response times and because of the way it keeps records, that the department was missing some of those response time records.
