Office of the Inspector General and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office worked hard together to arrest the head of the non-profit Veteran’s Employment Transition Services, Inc. (VETS).  Instead of putting together an educational and informational event for military veterans, the man withdrew money for himself and cut checks to family members. He was charged with three counts of Grand Theft, third degree felonies, for misappropriating grant funds. The OIG investigation uncovered that Cutler misappropriated funds from both a City of Miami  and an OCED grant to repay the City of Miami theft.  Read the OIG’s news release for more information on the investigation and arrest.
